Fired heater simulation results of Heater560 have been rigorously tested and compared with another widely trusted software program. The respective simulation results for over 100 different fired heater designs were collated and key areas were compared. This study and analysis has clearly demonstrated that the Heater560 software produces accurate and reliable results, which is not surprising, since both fired heater simulation software packages utilise well-established equations and correlations.
