HeaterSim was founded by a team of dedicated engineers, committed to developing powerful API 560 Fired Heater software. Other software programs were just inadequate in terms of addressing the real business and have shown relatively very little development in over 30 years.


It was out of this frustration that Heater560 was born.  Heater560 is able to accurately simulate fired heaters of various geometries and configurations. All the calculations are based on proven heat transfer and heater correlations that have been well established over the last 50 years. HeaterSim have automated a number of processes within the Heater560 software such as generation of datasheets, drawings and Cost Estimates. This saves a huge amount of time worth multiple $10,000s, particularly during activities such as project feasibility studies, FEED studies, pre-contract technical clarifications, budgetary proposals and site troubleshooting. 

HeaterSim have also included automatic calculations for refractory thickness, stack design, optimal burner number and layout. Simulation results are also generated with API 560 comments to immediately highlight areas of compliance or deviation within the fired heater model.
